You may also message them on Instagram to connect with them before booking.

  • What does "independent artist" mean?

Our salon is home to independent artists. This means our artists own their own and operate their own business and work for themselves! They rent a chair in our salon and are responsible for managing their own appointments, payments, questions, comments and concerns. Our salon is simply the place they operate.

  • How do I contact/call the salon?

You can call the salon at (860) 426-3642 for any general questions you may have. However, we are unable to handle any of our artists' bookings since we don’t have access to their schedules! Also, you can always send us an e-mail to hello@thenetworksalon.com@ for the fastest response Monday-Friday 9-5

  • How do I cancel my appointment?

You must reach out to your artist directly in order to cancel your appointment. Since our artists are independent artists we do not have access to their bookings. We cannot cancel a reservation for you. Be sure to reach out to your stylist directly in order to cancel your appointment. All artist contact info can be found on their artist profiles clearly listed at the top of each page.

  • Where are you located?

We are located at 409 Canal Street, Plantsville CT inside the historical 409 Canal Street building! We are minutes off 84 and 691 and border Southington, Cheshire, Wolcott and Waterbury.

  • Where do I park?

Please park in the first lot with the black gates and walk down the brick trail - we are the third door on the left hand side. Walk in and you will see signs for the salon. If the parking lot is full there is a giant parking lot across the street. Use the cross walk and enter the same way!

  • How do I get into the building?

Do not use the street entrance labeled "employees only". The street is for employees only and is the back end of the salon. We also do not have a crosswalk and it is dangerous. Do not attempt to use this entrance. Our main entrance is with the rest of the building on the trail side. Please park in the black gated lot and walk down the trail. There is an accessibility ramp there, too. Simply enter through the 2nd door instead of the 3rd.

  • What if I don’t like my hair?

Your artist wants nothing more than for you to love your hair! Please contact your artists directly so they can come up with a solution. Every artist wants to make you happy and ensure you have the hair of your dreams. All artist contact info can be found clearly listed at the top of each artist profile page.

  • What if I want to try a different artist?

We can guarantee that no artist will be offended if you want to try somebody new. We are a very laid back salon and have no drama or bitterness between the artists. We all have our specialties and favorite services to perform. It is not uncommon for artists to refer their guests to other artists in the salon if it doesn’t feel like a good match. We take no offense and are more concerned about helping you achieve the hair of your dreams!

  • I am a member of the LGBTQ community, can I feel safe here?

Absolutely. Our salon is a proud member of The Dresscode Project which helps build safer spaces for the LGBTQ+ community. Our salon requires gender neutral pricing, we have all gender restrooms and love when members of the LGBTQ+ community come in! If you would like to clarify your pronouns with us we would love that! Members of our leadership team have undergone extensive training in creating a safe space.
